Weekly Photoblog 2010 - Week 26

I've been exploring the world of sumi-e painting lately, and even occasionally break out the sumi-e brushes and try some simple compositions myself. This particular photo is of some sumi-e cattails I painted over a wet on wet watercolor wash.

I love the picture, but love the original creation even more. Lucky me to live with the artist.
